Services : Stockpile Inventory

Stockpile inventory involves the use of extremely detailed and accurate DTM data for use in stockpile volume calculations. Contours are generated, viewed in stereo and subjected to rigorous and highly critical quality control to ensure that they are suitably accurate for volume calculations. Triangulated surfaces are then generated from the DTM data using the surfacing utilities in Intergraph's SiteWorks software package. These surfaces are used in conjunction with surfaces representing the base - or ground under the stockpile - to calculate the volumes of materials making up the stockpiles.

Qualified professionals independently compute stockpile volumes. The computed volumes are then compared to verify consistent and reliable results.
