AMT provides softcopy AT solutions that incorporate cutting edge technologies with due care and consideration given to block geometry and the accurate stereoscopic measurement of all ground and photogrammetric control points. The fundamentals of sound photogrammetry are the foundations of our processes regardless of specific project inputs and parameters.
Whether your project involves the use of AGPS control, field targets, photo identifiable control, transferred control, digital imagery, scanned negatives or pugged diapositives (to support analog/analytical workflows) AMT will provide the most cost-effective service available and the most reliable results possible.
Autocorrelation techniques are not utilized in the point measurement production phase. All control points, including photogrammetric pass points and line ties, are stereoscopically selected and measured in the most appropriate positions available.
Utilizing the efficient image handling and fast, reliable online bundle adjustments provided in Zeiss/Intergraph's ISDM, we quickly process, analyze and edit multiple adjacent flight lines throughout the process in order to verify optimum relative solutions prior to bundle adjustment. Final softcopy bundle adjustment results also undergo thorough QC by reviewing EO-generated stereomodels for parallax and fitting accuracy in a softcopy compilation environment.
The following production 'screen shot' illustrates the power and flexibility of ZI ImageStation Digital Mensuration (ISDM) in dual 21" monitor configuration. In this example, 5 images from each of two adjacent flight lines are simultaneously displayed on the right monitor to facilitate efficient image and point selection. Point measurements are made on the left monitor with full screen stereo display and full zoom capabilities.
This display technology and configuration is also used for the inspection of scanned aerial imagery. Please see our section on Digital Imagery Inspection for more information.
