Seamless Digital Orthophotography, Mapping and GIS updateAMT offers exceptional black and white, color and/or infrared digital orthophotography production. AMT personnel have been involved in the successful completion of numerous extensive, large-scale color digital ortho photography projects. All projects were completed to extremely high standards with respect to accuracy, radiometric quality and seamless tonal balancing between adjacent ortho images as well as over entire project areas. Our expertise in digital ortho imagery involves all management and production phases with a primary focus on digital color orthophotography for ArcGIS, utilizing MrSID for optimum file compression.

The digital orthophoto process employs only the highest positional and radiometric standards to produce accurate and tonally consistent digital orthophotography products using Intergraph's Image Rectifier (ISIR), ImageStation OrthoPro, IRASC, and Adobe Photoshop.

Radiometric consistency is verified by visually checking adjacent digital orthophotos. Localized brightness/contrast issues are addressed, as required, to rectify tonal differences between adjoining orthophotos. When applying such adjustments, the image judged to have better tonal quality is used as the reference orthophoto, and adjustments are made to the adjoining orthophoto. Undesirable glare is removed from open water features. Radiometric adjustments are applied such that they do not compromise the accuracy, clarity, or resolution of the orthophoto.
